Right on the day of Mid-Autumn Festival, the English Department organized a festive mid-Autumn celebration where students fully immersed themselves in a lively atmosphere and engaging activities. Students explored the 3,000-year-old traditions of Mid-Autumn Festival as a celebration of Chinese culture. Students eagarly played an interactive family-themed game, answered questions about Mid-Autumn Festival legends, puzzled over lantern riddles, feasted on mooncakes and tried their hand at a Hou Yi-inspired archery challenge. This event offered a unique blend of language practice and cultural appreciation, reinforcing pride in Chinese heritage as we celebrated together.
